Writing assignment I enjoyed the most?
I would have to say I enjoyed our first writing assignment. I think being able to write about things that effect me directly
makes my essay better. I put more feeling into the writing. I also like reading about things that have happened to other people.
Writing assignment that gave me the most difficulty.
The writing assignment that gave me the most difficulty would hands down be essay 3. First I don't like doing research papers.
On occasion I will research things, but they usually don't require me to have 1200 words in thoughts on the subject. I struggled
with this because of that fact. Also I don't care to read things unless they involve people in a more personal way. Statistics
on things are just not my thing. I don't want to say that I don't care about whats going on in the world, but I guess thats
as close as I can get to explain it. However, I will try to care more seeing as how I have a daughter and I need to read more
into things, especially things that can effect her.
What I have learned about myself as a writer?
I have learned that writing is an excellent form of personal expression and that I enjoy writing about my family and goals.
What I have learned about myself as a reader?
I have learned that there are all types of writing styles and you can tell things about a person by the way that they write
and express themselves on paper.
What I have learned about myself as a critical thinker?
This semester I have learned that there are all types of writing and that I shouldn't look at grammatical differences as much
because everyone has their own way of expressing things. I have learned to focus on the context of the writing more and have
developed greater ability of developing arguments for or against the subject matter.
